For treats, you can get the chicken liver or even some raw egg. But for fucks sake, get the veggies out of their cage. I’ve had ferrets for the past 15 years. They are not low-maintenance pets at all. Strict diet, expensive but necessary vet appointments, high social requirement, extra supervision. It hurts seeing people not know how to take care of these often misunderstood pets. With all this being the case it makes me sad that they sell them at every pet smart.
