As someone that lives in a place that basically only has Dunkin and Krispy Kreme, can someone explain to Awesome Rhode Island I Still Call It Home Vintage Shirt me what’s different about these? They look like every other doughnut to me: fried sugar bread topped in liquid sugar with coated sugar bits. Don’t all doughnuts just taste like sugar and fry oil? It’s American donuts IMO. I live in Poland now and the donuts here are like a quarter of the sugar content and they are amazing. I don’t think I could eat American donuts anymore. Way too much sugar. Just so much it’s honestly ridiculous.

They have bacon-topped maple bars. Peanut butter and jelly-filled donuts. Gummy worm topped donuts. Basically, whatever you could ever think of they got it. I was reading the comments and thought the same thing. If you have a problem with that policy then good riddance. It’s a donut shop. There’s always gonna be customers. I never thought I’d see the day when the daily atrocities on that sub would become such a big part of the national discourse.
